What a client said
Bob Manthy • 15 years • 288 reviews read
“I have a master's in computer science, so I can usually tell when someone's overselling technology. Annette wasn't. She went through 288 of my Google reviews and told me things about my own graduates that 15 years of running these seminars hadn't shown me. Then she built the thing I'd been describing for years: someone takes the assessment, the system scores it and sends that person a personal response, and nobody touches it. I understood exactly what she built, which is why I know how good it is.”

What another client said
Ben • Founder, HourHound.app • audit of 200+ city pages
“I built HourHound with Claude Code, so I figured I already knew what these tools could do. Annette sent back an audit where every fix came as a prompt I could paste and run myself, including a couple of things Claude Code hadn't told me. She also caught that the most important page in every city I cover was showing Google almost nothing. Then she added a whole section on how to actually make money from what I'd built, which I never asked for. Learning to do this stuff myself was worth more than the fixes.”
Ben, FounderHourHound.app
I'm not a technologist who learned business. I'm a business operator who mastered technology. There's a difference: and it shows in every system I build.

Systems we've already shipped

We built and ran both of these ourselves, start to finish. Real systems that did the work, not slide decks about it.

31,310

Keywords ranked, $0 on ads

As Director of Bone Voyage Dog Rescue, I built a content system that ranked for 31,310 keywords with nothing spent on advertising, so adopters found the dogs on their own.

A business that ran itself

I solo-built E-Teach Abroad: a 120-hour course I wrote, an LMS that issued its own certificates, and marketing I ran head-to-head with staffed international recruiters.

adoption.com

I built adoption.com in 1995, connecting families with children in orphanages worldwide.

Before Google existed.

That's the kind of builder you want designing your AI systems.

The work is a running workflow: intake, routing, follow-up, and the checks that tell you when it needs a human.

What changes when we work together

You stop being the routing layer. Intake lands clean, follow-ups go out on trigger, handoffs don't live in your head, and a human only touches the decisions that matter.

BEFORE
AFTER
You read every new inquiry
Inquiry scored and routed by rules you set
Follow-up sits until Friday
Triggered reply goes out the same day
Handoff lives in your head
Next step is assigned with a check
You're the only person who knows the process
Process is written, built, and monitored
Agentic WorkflowsMulti-step work that runs itself. An agent takes the intake, works out what happens next, and moves it along without waiting on you.
AI OperationsThe unglamorous part. Keeping those systems working next month and next quarter, not just the week they shipped.
Custom AutomationsThe jobs nobody sells software for. Your follow-up, your routing, your handoffs, built the way your business actually works.
Team EnablementTeaching your people to run and change what we've built, so the knowledge lives with you instead of with us.
Governance & GuardrailsHuman review where the stakes are real, and hard limits on what the system decides alone. You stay in control.
The one free offer

A short intake.
One honest read on where you stand.

Most leaders either overestimate or underestimate what AI can do for their business. A short intake on where work stalls, how much of it there is, and which tools it lives in, and Annette tells you whether AI is the right tool, a simpler fix would work better, or the problem needs mapping first.

She reads your answers before you talk, so the 15 minutes are actually worth spending.

Questions people ask before they book

What does Verity Agentic do?

Verity Agentic builds agentic AI systems for 1-to-10-person businesses: client intake, follow-ups, routing, and the repetitive work that eats your week. These are working systems that run on their own, not pilots or slide decks.

Who is Annette Thompson?

Annette Thompson is the founder. She built adoption.com in 1995, ran the automated teacher-recruiting business E-Teach Abroad across seven countries, and as Director of Bone Voyage Dog Rescue built a content system that ranked for 31,310 keywords with no ad budget.

How much does it cost?

Pricing starts with a free 15-minute consult. From there: the Bottleneck Audit from $500 (credited toward a build), a done-for-you automation build from $1,500, and an ongoing AI Ops Retainer from $500 a month. Full breakdown on the pricing page.

How is this different from a no-code tool or a freelancer?

A no-code tool hands you a tool; you still have to design and run the workflow. A freelancer builds one thing and leaves. Verity Agentic maps the whole process, builds the system, and makes sure it keeps running without you, with human review where it matters.

How fast can it be built, and do you work remotely?

Most first automations ship in 1 to 2 weeks, not the six-month timelines big vendors quote. Annette is based in Boulder, Colorado and works with clients worldwide, remotely.

And the ones you're too polite to ask

What if AI isn't actually the answer for my business?

Then we'll tell you that on the free consult, before you've spent anything. Sometimes the fix is a clearer process or dropping a step nobody needs. We'd rather send you away with that than sell you a system you don't need.

My process is a mess. Is it too early to automate anything?

That's usually the best time, not the worst. Automating a broken process only makes it break faster, so part of the work is separating the steps worth keeping from the ones you've been carrying out of habit. You don't need to tidy up before we talk.

What happens when it breaks, or the model underneath it changes?

It will need attention eventually, and anyone who says otherwise is selling. We build with tools that are actively maintained, we document what's fragile, and we tell you which pieces are safe to leave alone for a year. If you want the watching handled, that's the retainer. If you'd rather do it yourself, you'll know what to watch.

What if my data is messy or spread across five different tools?

That's the normal case. Most small businesses keep things in email, a spreadsheet, a scheduler and somebody's head. Finding where it's scattered is part of the job, because that's usually exactly where the lost hours are.

Am I too small for this?

If you're one person and something repetitive eats your week, no. This is built for one to ten people. What matters isn't headcount, it's whether you have a process that repeats often enough to be worth automating.

Ready to stop doing the busywork yourself?

Get a free 15-minute consult. We'll look at where you're losing hours and tell you straight whether AI can fix it.
